A Bowie Celebration announces winter tour dates

Bowie's former band members making four stops across NYS

A Bowie Celebration announced a 32-date winter tour spanning February and March. The tour includes four New York dates: Buffalo on Feb. 26, New York City on March 5, Albany on March 6, and Syracuse on March 7. Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 14.

A Bowie Celebration is comprised of alumni members of David Bowie’s band. It’s led by keyboardist Mike Garson,  Bowie’s longest-running bandmate, who played more than 1,000 shows alongside the famed rock star.  Joining Garson is longtime guitar player Earl Slick. The core of the group is rounded out by Gerry Leonard (guitarist on A Reality Tour) and Carmine Rojas (bassist on the Let’s Dance/Serious Moonlight Tour). They will be joined on stage by vocalists such as Bernard Fowler and Corey Glover, among others/ Drummer Lee John will be performing a mix of Bowie’s hits and deep-cuts.

If you missed their pass through New York last winter, check out the NYS Music review of their performance at The Egg in Albany.
