Soule Monde Playing Throughout the Region in March

Shows include stops in Saranac Lake, Rochester, Syracuse and Brooklyn

Fun and funky Vermont duo Soule Monde are taking to the road this month, with stops at The Waterhole in Saranac Lake, both Funk N Waffles locations (Syracuse and Rochester), and Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn. Keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and drummer Russ Lawton bring an indelible sense of adventure to the stage as they play off each other’s grooves with nearly telepathic transmission of ideas. Visit their website for ticket information.

Lawton and Paczkowski should be names familiar to jamband fans. Both have been performing with the Trey Anastasio Band for several years and Lawton is credited with writing Phish’s Grammy nominated “First Tube.” He has also performed with Mike Gordon, Strangefolk and the Grippo Band.

Paczkowski was a member of the legendary Vermont band Viperhouse in the mid ’90s and has also peformed with Vorcza and as a member of the Dave Matthews & Friends touring band.

The duo is touring in support of its latest release, Must Be Nice.
