Rochester powerhouse pop band So Last Year released a music video for one of their most popular songs, “The End of My Excuses pt. II.” The song is featured on their second full-length album, In The Light of Summer, and is a staple of their setlist for live shows. Logan Van Epps said of the song:
This is a song we have been playing for some time now, and is one of our favorites. The song is about making decisions to make yourself a better individual, and we believe that introspection and personal growth are important and very possible for all of us.
Shot in black and white in a studio, the stark cinematography eliminates extraneous details. In doing so, director/editor Codey Dingfield captured the raw energy that So Last Year brings to their live performances.
