This Saturday, on August 26, NYC Gypsy punk band Gogol Bordello is coming to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester to celebrate the release of their latest CD Seekers and Finders with some assistance from Dave Hause & The Mermaid.
Dave Hause & The Mermaid is currently on an extensive tour of the US and Europe, teaming up with Gogol Bordello once for this show at The Cap. Hause’s punk rock songwriting has been born in Philadelphia though he recently relocated to California. His latest release Bury Me In Philly (Feb. 2017) pays tribute to his hometown and the rock acts he grew up listening to.
Gogol Bordello is known for their high energy shows both in small venues like the Basement at Webster Hall and up to major festivals such as Bonnaroo. Their show this Saturday’s at The Cap is a mere Metro North train ride from their hometown of the East Village in NYC and part of a much larger tour of the US and Europe. Gogol Bordello’s latest album Seekers and Finders is currently available for pre-order, but two singles have been released; check them out below.
Rough Trade NYC is offering a special first-come, first-serve ride to and from the show at their store at 64 N 9th St. in Brooklyn for those who pre-order Seekers and Finders in store – the album pre-order also comes with a ticket to the show. Space is limited.
