Intrepid Travelers have returned from their jaunt into the Midwest, and have plans to gig throughout New York and surrounding states for the rest of the summer. The NYS 87/90 band is touring to promote their recent release Everyday Is Your Birthday. The second leg of the tour commences in Pittsburgh on Thursday, July 27. The Buffalo quartet will wind its way throughout the region, with a grand finale at Night Lights Music Fest in Sherman, NY on August 26.
This promises to be an exciting journey for IT. Highlights of the tour include a Dark Star Orchestra Afterparty in Buffalo on Aug. 3, their first theater show in Bar Harbor on Aug. 13, and a two night stand in Burlington. To top it all off, they will make an appearance at Night Lights Music Festival.
Blending jazz-funk fusion with elements of psychedelic rock, reggae and bluegrass, Intrepid Travelers combine their compositions with improvisational segments, making every show an adventure. The sets are sure to include songs from their new EP. Everyday Is Your Birthday is available on Bandcamp for listening and digital purchase. Be sure to check out the NYS Music review.
