Saratoga’s Let’s Be Leonard Kicks Off Spring Tour

Saratoga area jamband, Let’s Be Leonard, has hit the road, and will perform 12 shows in eleven cities across the United States. The tour kicks off at the Elks Club in Ironton, Ohio and wraps up in the Capital Region on April 27 at the Hollow in Albany. Several bands will perform in select cities to help support the shows including Three Cities, Chameleon Technology and the Underlings, American Monroe, and Kitchen Dwellers.

Willing to make a go of the music business in early 2015, all five members of Let’s Be Leonard decided to go full in with their music careers and quit their day jobs. The band put all their money together, purchased needed equipment and a tour bus. The band released its debut album Cow, in 2015. Local radio stations WEQX and WEXT, have shown much love to the band.  The singles “Kindergarden Blues,” and “Frisbee,” are current mainstays on the station’s playlists. Their song “Rocky Road,” was part of Relix Magazine‘s 2016 compilation CD for the magazine’s January/February issue. Let’s Be Leonard has hinted at a possible second album release sometime in 2017.

Let’s Be Leonard is Karl Bertrand (vocals, rhythm guitar), Matt Griffin (lead guitar), Connor Dunn (saxophone), Chris Cronin (bass guitar), and Paul Gauy (drums).
