Umphrey’s McGee Announces Summer 2017 Tour Dates

Umphrey’s McGee recently announced a handful of summer dates. Their summer 2017 shows will kick off in Norfolk, Virginia on May 18th and includes the band’s 15th year at the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois. The initial announcement also includes a three day run at the legendary Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado and a return to the Central Park Summer Stage in NYC. Tickets go on sale to the public on March 10 at noon.

Several bands are slated to support Umphrey’s McGee along the tour, including Buffalo groove rockers Aqueous in Baltimore and the Marcus King Band in Augusta. Stick Figure, Snarky PuppyBokante, and Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers will be joining the band for their annual Independence Day Celebration at Red Rocks. Supporting acts for the Central Park shows are still to be announced.

Umphrey’s McGee is offering a variety of Red Rocks experience packages as well as three-day tickets. Fans can engage with the band through photo ops and enjoy private viewing sections as well as a pre-show beer and wine BBQ. In addition, VIP packages and travel packages are also available.

Additional summer dates will be announced in coming weeks.
