Chris Stapleton Announces Exhaustive ‘All-American Road Show’

Prolific songwriter-turned Grammy Album of the Year nominee, Chris Stapleton has announced additional dates to his tour. The All-American Road Show will span most of North America beginning with Rodeo Houston on March 9.

Stapleton has invited several of country’s rising stars to join him on the trek, which also includes several festival appearances and three dates opening for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in Chicago and Milwaukee. New York stops include Darien Lake on July 16 and Jones Beach on July 21.

The versatile, soulful Stapleton broke through in a big way with his performance of “Tennessee Whiskey” with Justin Timberlake at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards. From there, he was nominated for four 2016 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

The tour announcement coincides with news of Stapleton’s follow-up to the acclaimed Traveller album. The as-yet-untitled album will be released on May 5.

Joining Stapleton is a slew of country’s brightest new talents, a group of musicians that is taking the sound back to the heyday of Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and the Outlaw Country artists of the 70s.

Pre-sale and VIP tickets are available through the Stapleton fan club beginning Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. local time.
