Metallica, Soundgarden, Korn to Headline Ohio’s Rock on the Range

The 11th annual Rock on the Range, a three day festival featuring some of the best metal and hard rock bands, made a splash by announcing its lineup earlier this week. This year’s festival will be held at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on May 19, 20, and 21.

The lineup features headliners Metallica, Soundgarden and Korn. Other big name bands appearing at the festival include The Offspring, Volbeat, Primus, Bush, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Seether and Coheed and Cambria. More than 60 bands are included with a wide mix of metal, punk and hard rock bands on the bill.

Metallica’s appearance marks its first at Rock on the Range, while Soundgarden will be making its second appearance and Korn its third.  This is arguably the most impressive overall lineup with a variety of different bands.  Individual day lineups and times are yet to be revealed, but tickets can be purchased by visiting the festival website.

Pre-sale and layaway tickets are available now in prices ranging from $99-349. Tickets in the lower price levels are already sold out and hopeful attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets soon. This festival will sell out.

Bands on the 2017 bill express their admiration for the headliner in the promo video for the festival. Check it out below.
