Come and Get It: Delicious Hot Tuna Comes to CT

Rock and Roll Hall of fame members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady come to The Warehouse at FTC, this Wednesday, November 23 in Fairfield, CT to play as Hot Tuna. The four-decade-old group is alive, well and prepared to give a powerhouse performance filled with  American roots and blues music that any generation will appreciate. Hippies and hipsters alike will love the sultry sounds of the former Jefferson Airplane members as they play original tracks and Jefferson Airplane covers, the band from which they were born from. Most people are turned away from American roots music because of its stigma for being slow moving and outdated, but this show is sure to be energetic and truly fascinating to watch as these two astounding musicians show off their forty years of perfected talents and wisdom. Past performances have drawn massive crowds that had spectators rave and marvel at the fact that 72-year-old Casady and 75 year-old Kaukonen can still perform with such high energy, and a similar audience is expected to watch this Wednesday.

Wednesday nights are tough especially they day before Thanksgiving, so worry not, Hot Tuna will also be spending a full week touring up and down New York State and will return to Connecticut to soon after before heading west to end the tour. The show starts at eight with doors opening at seven and tickets at $60 a pop with members saving $5.
