Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce 2017 Tour

For concert-goers who love to plan in advance, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced some of the band’s touring plans for early 2017. Twenty four cities have been announced for the tour, with more to be added at a later date. RHCP released their eleventh studio album The Getaway, this past June and was one of the featured headliners at this years Rock On The Range this past May.

RHCP is bringing Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Jack Irons as support for the tour. Fans can get a fix of some Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik, when the tour kicks off on Jan 5, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. The tour wraps up in One Hot Minute, when it concludes on March 18, at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.

New York State has two dates on the tour; Buffalo’s Key Bank Center kicks off the party for New Yorkers on Feb. 10, then the Chili Peppers will take over NYC’s own Stadium Arcadium, the worlds most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, on Feb. 15.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale for fans in California on Tuesday, Sept. 20 and Wednesday, Sept, 21 for all other fan club members. General public tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 23, at 10:00 a.m. in most areas. Dallas, Tulsa, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Toronto, Buffalo, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, will have to wait until 12:00 p.m. To make things more confusing, general public tickets in San Antonio go on sale Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10:00 a.m. Each ticket purchased receives a redemption code for a digital or physical copy of the band’s current release The Getaway.
