Update: Make America Rock Again Tour Abruptly Cancels Glens Falls Date

Update: 09-15-2016:

Fans planning to attend the first, and most likely last, ever Make America Rock Again tour, that was to take place at the Glens Falls Civic Center Sept. 17 has been cancelled.

No official word as to why the event itself was canceled. The venue posted about the cancellation on its social media pages with instructions on how to go about getting a refund for tickets purchased.

To everyone’s surprise, no mention has been made of the cancellation by the tour organizers or artists on their social media pages, which are still advertising the date as if it’s still happening.

Also, fans have been posting on MARA’s Facebook page looking for an explanation as to why the the event in NYC on Sept. 14 at the Melrose Ballroom was cancelled two days before the show. Most of those posts looking for answers have been deleted.

There is another upcoming show in Big Flats, NY on Sept. 16. As for now, no mention of a cancellation at the Tags Summer Stage this Friday has been mentioned or posted on social media. Stay Tuned.

Trapt, Alien Ant Farm, Saliva, Tantric, 12 Stones and Crazytown will all tour in support of new albums, with lead singles ready to hit rock radio stations.

Tour buses will head off and hit the highways making their first stop at the Speaking Rock Amphitheatre in El Paso, Texas, on Aug. 6. The tour will feature a red, white and blue bikini contest and a BBQ meet and greet with the bands before the show. There will also be meet-and-greet opportunities with the bands after the show as well. The tour will come to a close at the United Wireless Arena in Dodge City, Kansas, ultimately stopping in over 30 different cities across the U.S.

New York will get the chance to rock on Sept. 14 at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City, Sept. 16 at the Tags Summerstage in Big Flats, and Sept. 17 at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls.

Make America Rock Again is produced by Supreme Entertainment. Tickets for the tour will cost $35, $22, and a $50 VIP option.

Usually tours will play similar-style venues throughout one tour. In a twist, Make America Rock Again will stop in multiple different venue types along the way. Shows will be staged in arenas, clubs, amphitheaters, casinos, theaters, minor league baseball parks, radio station events and military bases.

The core bands on the tour combined have sold more than 14 million albums, six certified platinum albums and six certified gold albums, and have produced eight No. 1 hits and 17 top 10 hits.
