Breakerbox Announces the Start of Emerging Artist Showcase

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Buffalo’s own Breakerbox, who is changing the face of the Buffalo music scene one show at a time. Performing at the Emerging Artist Showcase, a celebration of musical talent ranging from the Buffalo area clear across the nation, the band will help kick things off with the first show Thursday, July 14 at The Buffalo Iron Works at 9:00 p.m. Breakerbox headlines the evening and will be joined by solo artist, Under Great Lights hailing from Nashville, Tennessee.  Renowned Playboy model Dorothy Grant, who was born and raised in Buffalo, hosts the show.

Breakerbox has been one of Buffalo’s emerging bands for the last several years. They are a synth rock duo, featuring front woman powerhouse, Christina Denee. Along with drummer Scott Calandra  this duo has the innate ability to create music that draws the listener in.

The Emerging Artists showcase gives local and national acts a chance to shine runs once each month and will showcase many unique styles of music. This not be your local run of the mill show.

To attend the summer concert series for new emerging artists, tickets can be purchased online or at the Buffalo Iron Works. Advance sale ticket purchases are $15 while day of event is $18.

In addition to amazing talent, it will be an affordable night out with drink specials.  Gather your friends and make your way this week down to the Emerging Artists Showcase to show your support for Buffalo’s amazing music scene.
