Dead and Company Confirm SPAC Webcast During Summer Tour

Dead and Company is giving fans who attend their upcoming summer tour a unique chance to re-live the experience, while also giving fans who can’t attend, or fans would like to hear performances from other markets, a chance to do just that.

Dead and Company’s summer tour, featuring Grateful Dead members, along with John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge, is offering live downloads, streams, and in select markets, video webcast of live shows through Nugs.net.

Nugs.net has launched the page LiveDead.co, where fans can purchase the media of their choosing. The official high quality recordings of Dead and Company’s tour will be made available directly to fans. Downloads, CDs and on-demand streams will be available within a couple of hours after each show gets underway.  Audio downloads in mp3 format cost $15.95 and $24.95 for 24-bit audiophile. Custom three CD sets will also be available each night on demand through the Nugs.net app. Founder and CEO of Nugs.net Brad Serling, has even hinted at a possible vinyl release or two from the tour.

Dead and Company has confirmed that the first show available for webcast will take place at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, in Saratoga Springs Tuesday, June 21.

Fans can find a free stream of the first song in the set on the band’s Facebook page. You can pre-order SPAC’s live show right now on the LiveDead.co site. The pro-shot pay-per-view webcast will be available for $29.99 for full HD 1080p and $24.99 for standard. The webcast will be in a DVR format, and will only be available for 28 hours after the concert ends.
