Photo Gallery: Taste of Syracuse 2016

The 20th annual Taste of Syracuse took over the Salt City’s historic Clinton Square for two days of food, booze and bands. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on June 3 and 4, locals sampled $1 eats from area spots like Lao Village, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Modern Malt and the Mission, plus popular food trucks Chicken Bandit and PB&J; and this year’s Saturday evening entertainment was headlined by the classic rock band Cheap Trick—of course treating the crowd to “I Want You to Want Me” before the night ended. Other featured artists during this year’s event included the Golden Novak Band, Castle Creek, Soul Risin’, the Fabulous Ripcords, Pale Green Stars, Floodwood, the Spring Street Family Band and Sophistafunk.
