Updated 6/6/2016:
Lucid will take a break from not playing live shows to perform at the 10th installment of they festival they host annually, Backwoods Pondfest.
The announcement came with the fest’s final lineup announcement, which also includes a performance from “Mihali & Friends,” which will feature Twiddle frontman Mihali Savoulidis heading up a collaboration set with other members of his popular jam band Twiddle and members of Lucid. According to the press release announcing the lineup, “While Mihali & Friends will be a first-of-its-kind, unique fusion of these two bands, their history sharing the stage together goes as far back as the first Backwoods Pondfest itself in 2007.”
In addition to Lucid and Mihali & Friends, Balkun Brothers and Ian McGuire have been added to the full lineup.
Currently, Lucid previously announced they will be taking a hiatus from touring. Lucid will play both Friday and Saturday night sets.
Mihali & Friends and Balkun Brothers will kick off Pondfest on Thursday, for the first-time-ever Thursday night set. Ian McGuire, known for having played on stage with Phish and the Disco Biscuits, among many others, is set to play with numerous acts throughout the weekend.
