Widespread Panic Fall Tour Stops in NYC, New Year’s Run in Nashville

Widespread Panic will continue their year of nearly non-stop touring with a fall tour that brings them to Brooklyn in September. They have also announced their previously-hinted-at New Year’s run will take place in Nashville, Tennessee.

Following the news that they will no longer tour after their New Year’s run this year, Widespread Panic dropped a set of dates for the start of their fall tour. The tour takes them through the Northeast and South, kicking off on Sept. 6 in Washington, D.C., and coming to an end on Sept. 24 in St. Augustine, Florida. The tour brings them to the Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn on Sept. 9 and 10. They follow those shows up with a stop at the Mann Center in Philadelphia on Sept. 11.

As they implied in the announcement of their end to touring, Widespread Panic will play a three-night New Year’s run in Nashville, Tennessee, which kicks off on Dec. 29 at the famed Ryman Auditorium for their “almost annual” Tunes for Tots benefit concert. The shows on Dec. 30 and 31 will be at the Bridgestone Arena.

Tickets for the Tunes for Tots concert go on sale for $150 on Friday, May 20 at 10 a.m. CDT. Tickets for the Dec. 30 and 31 shows go on sale on Friday, May 13 at noon CDT.

In addition to the already announced shows, October dates will be announced soon.
