Keller Williams’ KWahtro to Land in Syracuse This Weekend

Keller Williams has recently announced an extensive nationwide Spring/Summer tour with a collaboration of artists consisting of KWahtro, Grateful Grass, Grateful Gospel, More Than A LittleThe Keels, and The Travelin’ Mccourys.

Williams has one stop in NY this Friday, April 8 at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse. The Keller Williams KWahtro is a four-piece featuring Gibb Droll (Guitar), Danton Boller (Acoustic Upright Bass), and Rodney Holmes (Drums) alongside Keller himself is his latest ensemble.

Gibb Droll has collaborated with Keller many times before, including his Live release from 2008.  He has also performed with Bruce Hornsby and made appearances on Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, MTV, CMT, and more. Danton Boller has recorded and toured internationally with Roy Hargrove, Kat Edmonson, The Village Vanguard Orchestra, and the Jazz Mandolin Project with Jon Fishman. Rodney Holmes may be most well known for his involvement with Santana, recording drums on the popular track “Smooth,” featuring Rob Thomas (Matchbox Twenty), however, he has won several Grammys for his creative work on the Brecker Brothers Out of the Loop album.

Doors at the Westcott Theater open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm.  Tickets are $25 from the bands website or $30 at the Door (day of).  Below is a schedule of Keller’s Tour and the artists he’s sharing the stage with.
