Gov’t Mule will head out on a brief tour in August with a stop at Utica’s Saranac Brewery.
Gov’t Mule‘s 10 night tour kicks off at the Maine State Pier in Portland on Aug. 11. They hit up the Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Aug. 12. After a few nights off, they play the Saranac Brewery on Aug. 16, followed by the River Stage at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia on Aug. 17 and Stage AE Outdoors in Pittsburgh on Aug. 18. From there they head through the midwest leading up to their Aug. 25 show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado with moe.
The Smokin’ Mule Tour, as it’s being called, includes special guests Blackberry Smoke. Warren Haynes performed with the Atlanta-based Southern rock band as part of his Christmas Jam in 2015 and Gov’t Mule played with them in Boston in 2014.
Fan club pre-sale tickets for the tour go on sale on Wednesday, April 6 at noon. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 8 at noon, with the exceptions of the Hubert Heights, Ohio and Philadelphia shows. The Hubert Heights show goes on sale April 13 for the pre-sale and April 15 for the general public. Tickets for the Philadelphia show go on sale April 8 at 1 p.m.
