Béla Fleck and the Flecktones return from a four-year hiatus to go on a two-week tour that starts June 1 in Roanoke, Virginia and ends at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Colorado. Their one stop in New York is on Saturday, June 4 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. They will play nearby Burlington, Vermont on Thursday, June 9 as part of the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival. The only other date in the Northeast is Sunday, June 5 at the Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

The Flecktones have been delighting audiences with their fusion of bluegrass, jazz and funk since 1988. They have gone through a couple lineup changes over the years. Their current lineup goes back to their first days as a band. In 2012, they announced that while they love playing together, they all have other musical interests they have been pursuing and would go on an indefinite hiatus for several years.
