Between the Buried and Me are kicked off their tour last night in Sayreville, New Jersey, co-headlining with August Burns Red.
Between the Buried and Me are heading out on tour in support of their latest album Coma Ecliptic, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Music Chart. The tour takes them across the U.S. and Canada, with stops in New York on April 16 at Clifton Park’s Upstate Concert Hall and April 17 at Webster Hall in New York City. There are several stops in the Northeast as well, including April 9 in Pittsburgh; April 10 in nearby Guelph, Ontario; April 13 in Portland, Maine; April 14 in Providence, Rhode Island; and April 15 in Philadelphia. The Faceless and Good Tiger will open for the two headliners.
Between the Buried and Me is a progressive metal band from North Carolina. Their latest album was described by Rolling Stone as “a 68-minute cosmic opera that’s part Stravinsky, part Queensryche.” August Burns Red is a metalcore band from Pennsylvania. Their song “Identity” off their most recent album Found in Far Away Places was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category.
