Update 3/14/16:

Rock n Roll Resort, less than two weeks away, finalized the lineup and announced their theme nights for the “Low Key” festival. The full lineup is available at the Rock n Roll Resort website, and the schedule will be posted soon.

The theme nights include Friday’s “It’s good to be bad,” when attendees are encouraged to dress up as good or as trashy as they’d like, Saturday Morning Cartoons, and a pajama party on Sunday.

The festival is holding a contest on their Facebook page for a VIP package for two. It includes full VIP access to the event. Additionally, they have made single night stays available at the resort for those only able to attend one night.

This year’s festival, taking place March 25 to 27 at the Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson, will take a low-key approach. In addition to the music, attendees will be driven to participate in other on-site activities, such as mini-golf and disc golf tournaments, theme nights and an Easter egg hunt for both kids and adults alike.

Cousin Earth - Rock N Roll Resort

The initial lineup for Rock n Roll Resort v6 has been announced and includes multiple sets of Max Creek throughout the weekend. Creek’s Scott Murawski will also perform with his other band, the Depth Quartet, which features former Creek drummer Greg Vasso. West End Blend, from Hartford, Connecticut, will bring their soul and funk for two sets.

New York music is well represented in the lineup. Albany’s Mister F and Formula 5 are making stops in the middle of their tours of the Northeast. Nyack’s Mr. Breakdown and New Paltz’s the Other Brothers look to funkify the resort. Ukelele-led Cousin Earth from Brooklyn will bring their twist on funk and rock.

This year’s festival will be the most affordable yet. Weekend passes are still at the early-bird rate of $80 with a VIP upgrade for $125. Room packages start at $350 for two people and include tickets to the festival. Locals wishing to attend a single day can purchase Friday or Saturday tickets for $45 at the early-bird rate.
