Making their way across the country this winter, these feisty five, better known as R5, are making their mark on the pop world and fans on multiple continents. R5 is comprised of siblings, Ross, Riker, Rocky and Rydel Lynch, and friend Ellington Ratliff.
These young musicians have been a pop sensation since their self released EP Ready Set Rock in 2010. Taking to the Internet, the band’s fans have been treated to an insider’s view of the band and its day to day life on its sold out tour, as cameras followed them across the U.S., Canada, Australia, England, and France in 2013 and 2014 as well as in a recently released one-day video that includes exclusive snippets from interviews, shows, and bits from the band’s early years.
Some may recognize front man Ross Lynch. He is best known as Austin Moon on Disney’s Austin & Ally. With the release of their debut album LOUDER, they have found an audience on the Disney Channel and Disney Radio’s airwaves. Extensive sold out shows around the world have allowed these five young individuals to create a name for themselves in the pop world and a loyal fan base with the younger generation on social media.
NYS Music is pleased to welcome R5 back to upstate New York Saturday, March 5th, along with Ryland and MAX , one of MTV’s selected Artist To Watch in 2015, at the Rochester Auditorium Theatre.
