On the heels of a memorable 2015, Slovenia-born producer Gramatik kicks off his 2016 tour at PlayStation Theatre in Times Square on Saturday, February 20.
Expect funk-infused hip-hop beats and bobbing heads all around; Gramatik’s retro-future-funk keeps the groove fresh and interesting with an air of familiarity that just makes you want to keep moving. Supporting acts include Alexander Lewis and Sweater Beats whom will most certainly set the tone with their respective eclectic styles of producing.
Gramatik is touring in support of his “Native Son” Remixes EP, which feature Wu-Tang member Raekwon and R&B singer/multi-instrumentalist, Orlando Napier, as well as in support of his forthcoming album “Epigram” which is projected to be released this Spring.
2016 is gearing up to be another great year for the NYC-based producer as 2015 was stacked with accomplishments; an appearance on CNN’s This is Life with Lisa Ling, his track feat. Eric Krasno, “Torture” being featured on Netflix’s hit series “Narcos” and his short film “The Condor” winning Best Short Film at the Los Angeles International Undeground Film Festival. Gramatik is most certainly on his game and only getting better; don’t miss out on this upcoming performance as he’ll surely be funkin’ it up.
