Werk It Out: First Look at the Festival’s 2016 Lineup

The Werks have debuted the initial lineup for their seventh annual the Werk Out Music and Arts Festival. The three-day event held at Legend Valley in Ohio this August will feature jam and electronic favorites like Lettuce, STS9, Dopapod, Twiddle, Mister F and many others, in addition to three nights of the Werks.

The Werks recently celebrated their 10th anniversary with the release of Inside a Dream and an impressive set during Jam Cruise 14. Unfortunately just after that, keyboard player Norman Dimitrouleas died in his sleep. His brother, the band’s bassist Dino Dimitrouleas, is taking a leave of absence for a while and is temporarily replaced by SassafraZ’s Jake Goldberg.

Produced by Trickle Productions and The Werks Music LLC, typical festival rules apply — no fireworks, no weapons, no underage drinking, no illegal substances — and the event’s general information guidelines specifically note, “NO BATH SALTS –The Werk Out Music and Arts Festival strictly prohibits any use of or sales of bath salts. Do not purchase or sell bath salts. No face eating.”

General admission festival passes and VIP packages are on sale now (ranging from $109 to $219) and can be purchased on the event’s official website. Parking and camping are included with general admission; VIP packages feature access to the Chill Lounge, private showers and bathrooms, RV camping sites, special concert-viewing area, meet-and-greets and more. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, but one-day passes will only be available for Saturday.

Stay tuned for updates as the festival announces more acts to the 2016 lineup and artist schedule. And in the meantime, check out Ben Landsman’s review and photo gallery of the Werk Out Festival 2015 here.
