’80s Legend Bringing “Heaven” to Turning Stone

Bryan Adams - Reckless Tour 2015

Canadian singer-songwriter and photographer Bryan Adams is on the road supporting his newest album Get Up, which was released to the world on Oct. 16, 2015 via Universal Music.

Get Up is Adam’s 13th studio album and contains 13 songs, nine of which are new originals plus four acoustic tracks. The majority of the album was written by Adams and long-time collaborator Jim Vallance and was also produced by Jeff Lynne of ELO. The first single released was a video for “Brand New Day” featuring popular British actress Helena Bonham Carter.  The second video released was “You Belong to Me,” filmed in Adams’ black and white style of photography.

Adams garnered North American attention with the release of his album Cuts Like a Knife and achieved major fame with 1984’s followup release Reckless, which featured popular hits like “Run to You,” “Summer of ’69” and “Heaven.” Last September, Adams performed at CMAC during the summer concert series in support of the 30th anniversary release of Reckless, and he played many fan favorites, including the popular theme songs “All For Love” from The Three Musketeers (1993) and “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991).

The ’80s classic rock legend will be rolling through New York with a stop at the Turning Stone Casino Event Center this Sunday, Feb. 14. With tickets at a romantically low price of $24/$29/$34 or a “Room and Show” package of $192, there’s no wonder why it’s almost sold out. For ticket inquires, call the Turning Stone Box Office at (877) 833-SHOW.
