moe. and Gov’t Mule will co-headline a show Aug. 25 at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Blackberry Smoke will open the show. The bands are marking their first show together at this venue in 11 years.
Gov’t Mule is hosting a pre-sale of tickets for the show at its website, beginning at 10 a.m. MT Feb. 3. Radio station KBCO is hosting its own pre-sale on Feb. 4, also at 10 a.m. MT. Tickets for the general public go on sale Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. MT.
moe. is also playing the Boulder Theater the following night, but the catch is that tickets can only be purchased for the Boulder show in a two-day ticket package along with the Red Rocks show. Tickets for the Boulder show go on sale at 10 a.m. MT Feb. 3 through the theater’s website.
moe. and Mule have a history together that reaches as far back as the Summer Session tour of 1999. This tour also included such fellow second wave jambands Galactic, String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams and Kevin Kinney of Drivin’ N’ Cryin’. This tour also made an appearance at Red Rocks.
