Lotus Set to Return to the F Shed

On Saturday January 30, almost a year to the day from last year’s visit to the F Shed at the Market, Lotus is set to return to thaw the bitter cold Syracuse winter, for one night at least. The jam-tronica quintet, just back from a successful journey on the Jamcruise, is ready to keep chugging along on their busy touring schedule. The indoor/outdoor venue will most definitely be fully closed up, providing more blank canvas for Lotus’s wild light show.

Opening the show will be Los Angeles-based El Ten Eleven. The bass/guitar and drums duo make ample use of looping and pedal effects to create an orchestra of electronic post-rock that will have your head spinning. This is an act not to be missed and is well worth the extra effort of arriving to the show on time.

Speaking of getting there on time, the doors will open at 6pm with the music getting going around 7pm. Tickets are $23 in advance or $25 at the door. If you want the VIP treatment, you might opt for the $50 tickets which includes a full cash bar, free buffet and private parking, entrance, and bathrooms. On the opposite side of the spectrum, if you’d prefer to see the show for free you can try your luck with Lotus’ Facebook contest.
