Life Of Agony To Release First Album In 11 Years

This week saw the announcement of Brooklyn, NY metallers Life Of Agony signing a deal with Napalm Records and releasing their fifth studio album: A Place Where There’s No More Pain.  No specific date has been announced but it is planned for a 2016 release.

Currently the band is gearing up for a brief tour in Germany starting this month and another short tour in England in March.  No word on US shows as of yet.

Bassist Alan Robert commented on the new album via Blabbermouth.net:

“I think our fans know that our music comes from a very real place of suffering, from all of us in the band.  Many of our fans have told us over the years that sharing our personal struggles has been cathartic for them in healing the pain in their own lives. That uplifting energy we share at the shows gives us hope that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. And for us and hopefully our fans, that short time when we’re all together is a place where there’s no more pain.”

On bands official page it says “After a decade of silence, L.O.A. will unleash this beast in 2016. Happy f#cking new year.”  Check out the artwork below.
