Aqueous Returns to Paradise Music Festival

Buffalo-based groove rock quartet Aqueous will return for three sets at the 2016 Paradise Music & Arts Festival.

The four-day event will take place April 28 to May 1. This year’s festival, which has previously been held in Hutsonville, Kentucky, is relocating four hours north to Albany, Ohio.

Four other acts have been announced: the Floozies, Turbo Suit, Pink Talking Phish and Ekoostik Hookah. The new location places the festival on 675 acres that will include camping, cabins, lakes, basketball courts, canoes, fishing and swimming. The festival continues to announce new acts to their line-up daily.

Aqueous hits the road in mid-February with Papadosio for dates in the Midwest and Colorado. They will also make a special stop in Clymer at the Peek ‘n Peak Resort on Feb. 12, where they will share the stage with Smackdab and Band of Peace.

Fans wanting to catch the band sooner can travel to Erie, Pennsylvania, for New Year’s Eve at the King’s Rook Club. Aqueous will move north to Burlington, Vermont, on New Year’s Day, where they will open for Twiddle at Higher Ground.

Aqueous was recently honored by NYS Music with top nods for 2015 Staff Picks: Best Shows by Region for their Halloween show which has been dubbed “Dark Side of Oz.”

The band makes their way to Cleveland the day after Christmas for a show at the Beachland Ballroom on Dec. 26.
