Although no bands or venues announced as of yet, punk rock’s premiere Vans Warped Tour has announced all the cities and dates this summer. And it will include three stops in New York state.
The 20-year-old punk-rock festival tour will stop in Syracuse on July 7 for the first time ever, then New York City gets it on July 9, and the last New York State stop will be in Buffalo on July 14.
Warped Tour, the largest traveling music festival in the country, usually includes a strong lineup of punk bands from brand new to legendary, and it also tends to have a variety of ska, pop-punk, hardcore and hip-hop acts as well. Past acts include Pennywise, NOFX, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Bad Religion and Blink-182, among many, many others.
Expect the 2016 lineup announcement and ticket sales to begin in March.
