Marco Benevento Announces Tour in Support of New Album

Marco Benevento will head out on tour in support of his new album, The Story of Fred Short. The first leg of dates have been announced and include stops in Kingston and Brooklyn.

The new tour dates include an eight-night run up the West Coast starting March 31 in San Diego and ending in Seattle. Following the West Coast run, he will play three nights in the Northeast. He’ll be at The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 14 before he heads to New York. April 15 will see him at BSP in Kingston followed by the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on April 16 to conclude his tour.

Benevento will be joined by his trio, featuring Dave Dreiwitz on bass and Andy Borger on drums. The band will play Jam Cruise Jan. 6 to 11 followed by five nights in Florida. They will also play three nights in Colorado in mid March.

The Story of Fred Short is due out in April. The first single, “Dropkick,” is out now and available for purchase. It can also be streamed on SoundCloud.
