Megadeth Announce Dystopia Tour, Includes Niagara Falls and 2 NYC Dates

Megadeth, one of thrash metal’s “big four,” is set to tour starting in February in support of their latest album, Dystopia, which is slated for a January release.

Joining Megadeth are crossover heavyweights Suicidal Tendencies, who have proved time and time again that they can tour with thrash metal bands, as well as Children Of Bodom, touring in support of their latest album, I Worship Chaos. And Colorado thrash metallers Havok are slated to open the tour.

New York state has hit the jackpot with three dates: March 15 at Niagara Fall’s Rapids Theater, as well as two shows back to back at New York City’s Terminal 5 on March 16 and 17.

Drumming behind the kit for Megadeth will be Chris Adler of Lamb Of God. Adler, who is clearly metal’s busiest (and luckiest) drummer, is slamming the skins for both bands as of right now. He will be drumming with Lamb Of God’s January tour with Anthrax before the Dystopia Tour kicks off.
