Slayer has announced that more dates will be added to the tour. Slayer will hit the road supporting their 12th studio album, Repentless. In their more-than-30-year career, Repentless marks Slayer’s highest chart debut for an album. Fans can count on hearing all their favorite Slayer tracks along with new ones on this tour as the band plays for over an hour and a half.

Formed in 1981, Slayer rose to fame with the 1986 release of their third studio album, Reign in Blood. Slayer won Grammy awards in 2007 and 2008 for Best Metal Performance. In 1996, the parents of a girl who was murdered by three Slayer fans accused the band of encouraging the boys through their lyrics. The lawsuit was dismissed in 2001.

New Yorkers can catch Slayer during the first leg of the tour at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester.

Slayer will offer various limited VIP options for the tour. Some of those VIPs include watching Slayer’s entrance and first three songs on stage with the band, access to watch the bands usually off-limits soundcheck, custom VIP items and autographed collectibles.

Testament is currently working on their 11th studio album, hoping to release it sometime in early 2016. The California natives have been playing their style of thrash metal for over 30 years. Testament has sold 14 million albums worldwide. Testament has opened for many major metal acts such as Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and of course Slayer.

Carcass recently released a special edition of its sixth studio album Surgical Steel.  Carcass was formed in 1985 in Liverpool. The British melodic death metal band took a brief hiatus in 1995. Original band members from Carcass reunited in 2007 except for drummer Ken Owen, due to health reasons.
