This Friday, Dec. 4, at The Palace Theater in Syracuse, Kimberly Schad will celebrate the release of her first official EP, Mystic Kingdom, with a free concert at 8 p.m. Yes, we said free.
At age 26, this prolific songstress is on a personal five-year evolution as a singer, songwriter, musician, engineer, producer and stage designer following her lifetime of experiences. It’s an absolute marvel to witness. Taking into consideration the depth of talent she’s been surrounded with her whole life, her ambition and focus toward her goals aren’t surprising.
Her performances are known as innovative, highly visual productions that are a sensory enticement as demonstrated in the video above. This time she’ll have some stellar musicians joining her: Jim Lucas on drums, Gary Lucas on percussion, Andrew Greacen on guitar, Travis Reed on piano and her longtime partner Will Masiclat on sampling, video and keyboards. With Tim Schad at the helm and pulling the production strings, the possibilities are endless.
NYS Music will have a full EP and concert review after the show. Don’t miss out on this concert: It’s free!
