The run starts Dec. 30, and the Biscuits will play a show each night through Jan. 2, at the PlayStation Theater (formerly the Best Buy Theater) In New York City’s Time Square area.

The openers will be as follows:

  • Dec. 30: Horizon Wireless, a New York-based group that bills its sound as “multigenre dance music for the mind body and soul”
  • Dec. 31: Consider the Source, a New York City band that has a list of genres it plays with — “Sci-Fi, Middle Eastern, Progressive, Psychedelic, Jamband, Funk, Fusion”
  • Jan. 1: Animus Rexx, organic electronic music from Brooklyn
  • Jan. 2: Soul Clap, a Boston-based DJ and production duo

Most of the shows are late-night sets, with doors at 10 p.m., but the Dec. 31 show has an 8 p.m. door time. Tickets are on sale now.

The Disco Biscuits are a jam band from Philadelphia. The band is drummer Allen Aucoin, bassist Marc Brownstein, Jon Gutwillig on guitar and vocals, and Aron Magner on keys and vocals. The Best Buy Theater is a bit of a holiday tradition for the band — they’ve played there on or around New Year’s Eve for about a half a decade.
