Mumford & Sons has announced their first 2016 tour, which they’re calling An Arrow Through the Heartland, and it includes a Saratoga show.
They will play the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, Nov. 13. Radio station 102.7 WEQX will hold a contest all this week on “Early EQX” for tickets prior to the on-sale date.
From their tour announcement:
Touring the United States of America in many ways fulfils the childhood dream of what touring might be like. Rolling from one great city to the next, each with its own personality and uniqueness whilst remaining familiar enough at the same time. Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit “that” bookshop or “the” ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer.
Mumford & Sons formed in 2007 in London. The band has released three studio albums, two of which debuted at number one in the U.K. and U.S. They have also released two live albums. Mumford has been honored with eight Grammy Award nominations, and they won the Album of the Year Grammy Award for their album Babel.
