Jenn Curtis is relatively new to the concert photography scene with a little more than a year and a half of experience and has worked extremely hard to create a professional reputation and portfolio in that time. As a photographer and writer for NYSMusic, Jenn focuses on a variety of genres from Rock and Metal to Country, but does not restrict herself to only those. She also has interest in the music industry outside of photography including public relations, social media, and management.
Jenn graduated from the University of Albany in 2015 with a degree in Political Science. She entered school with the goal of working in law enforcement but a year and a half in she started photography and knew it was what she wanted to do with her life. She combined her love for photography with her dedication to Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, providing photography and video for the event in her senior year. Her goal now has become making a career for herself as a tour photographer and eventually with a major print publication.
In the short time she has been shooting Jenn has covered major artists in different genres including Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Godsmack, Halestorm, A Day to Remember and her personal favorite Bring Me the Horizon in Rock, as well as Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Little Big Town, Sam Hunt, and Brantley Gilbert in country.
