2016 Hall of Fame

Hardcore rock fans have voiced their displeasure on social media with some of the nominees, because they don’t have any rock songs or come from the rock genre.

Fans can go to vote at Rockhall.com as many times as they want, and up to five nominees per vote. Winners of the voting will comprise a “fans ballot,” which will be tallied along with ballots by other artist, historians and music insiders of the Rock Hall voting body to choose the 2016 nominees.

This will be the fourth year in a row that fans will have a ballot casted. Presented by Klipsch Audio, the voting will end Dec. 9, with the winners being announced shortly after.

To qualify for this year’s ballot, the artist nominated had to have released their first single by 1990 or earlier.
