Continuing its successful track record of bringing quality shows to the Albany area, The Low Beat has raised the bar yet again with the release of its October event schedule.
Kicking off the month on the 1st is Austin Aware, MScott, King Jules, August King and Miles at 7:30 p.m. Other highlights from their schedule include performances by Marc Delgado from Wounded Knee on Oct. 15, Society High on Oct. 23 and the Built4BBQ Whole Hog Halloween bash on Oct. 31.
The Low Beat has recurring events in October as well. First and third Tuesdays feature The Nitty Gritty Poetry Slam at 7 p.m. The second and fourth Tuesdays have The Low Beat Open Comedy Open Mic at 7 p.m. And every Wednesday you can catch The Deadbeats perform at 10 p.m.
