The Who Postpones N.Y. Show And Rest Of Tour Due To Illness

The Who announced they will be postponing the October 27th N.Y. concert, along with all remaining dates on their “The Who Hits 50!” North American tour. After postponing four shows earlier this month, they hoped to continue the tour but Roger Daltrey’s illness was discovered to be more serious than they initially had thought.

After extensive tests Daltrey was diagnosed with viral Meningitis and has been ordered by his doctors to rest. Daltrey said he is already feeling better and is expected to make a complete recovery but requires considerable time to recover.

Therefore it looks like The Who fans will have to wait to celebrate their 50th Anniversary on year 51. Pete Townshend said the band is rescheduling all shows for Spring 2016 and apologized to all of their fans who have supported them in the last 50 years. He also hopes to come back stronger than ever and promised that both he and Roger will give fans a show to remember in 2016.
