The insider also stated that both Shelton and Stefani at first were just bonding over the fact that they were both going through divorces at the same time, which turned into a closer friendship between them. The source then adds that “the pair have great chemistry on the panel and have been enjoying each other’s company away from the set. Audiences will pick up on this, and viewers will be able to see this from a mile away and it is going to make for some great T.V.”

For the past 13 years, Stefani has been married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, whom she has three sons with. It’s still unclear as to why Gwen filed for divorce but rumors state that Rossdale was unfaithful during his marriage. Gwen was also said to be devastated in 2004 when it came out that Rossdale was the biological father of model Daisy Lowe’s daughter.

Shelton was married to country star Miranda Lambert the past four years. Their split is also a mystery. Shelton and Lambert released a joint statement saying, “We’re parting with heavy hearts and request privacy and compassion during this difficult time.”
