Mexican guitar prodigy duo Rodrigo y Gabriela are gearing up for a North American (and European) tour this summer, with 24 dates announced.
The tour kicks off with the only two dates in the Northeast area – June 17 at the Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading, PA and June 19 at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
Rodrigo y Gabriela are touring in support of their newest album 9 Dead Alive which revisits the style of the 2009 release 11:11 (following 2012’s Area 52 which fused the duo’s guitar work with a backing horn band). Joining them on the June dates is Kansas City’s modern folk band Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear.
Tickets for the June 19th show at The Capitol Theatre go on sale Friday April 17 at noon here. A special pre-sale starts Wednesday April 15.
