Blind Owl Band Embark on Spring Tour

BOBtourThe Blind Owl Band will embark on a spring tour that brings them far and wide throughout the Northeast. The foot-stomping Adirondack bluegrass group took a break for the end of 2014, but they’re back touring heavy in April and May.

The tour starts April 23 at Nectar’s in Burlington then heads to Flour City Station in Rochester, where they will play with Mulberry Soul. They’ll also hit up Ithaca, Oneonta, Syracuse, Binghamton, Albany, Queens, Canandaigua, and Rochester again, plus a hometown show at the Waterhole in Saranac Lake in the middle of it all on May 9. They will also play a spring residency at Sportsmen’s Tavern in Buffalo with three Wednesday night shows on April 29, May 13, and May 27.

Those New York dates are interspersed with stops as close as Vermont and as far away as Ohio and Washington D.C.

The dates include performances with a variety of other acts, including Folkfaces, the Spectacular Average Boys, Still Hand String Band and Swampcandy, among others.
