Poor Interpol is still stuck, but they continue to be positive and in an “awwww” moment thank the brave Lackawanna Fire Department for keeping an eye on them.
If you hadn’t heard already, NYC rock heroes Interpol have been trapped in the epic lake effect snow storm in South Buffalo for the past two days. The band was en route from Ohio to a gig in Toronto and ended up right in the middle of Snowpocalypse 2014 unable to continue. The Toronto gig was cancelled of course, and today a second gig in Montreal also had to be trashed.
The band has made the best of a bad situation with multiple Twitter updates from guitarist Daniel Kessler and keyboardist Brandon Curtis. Check out some of the stream below and be sure to follow Interpol on Twitter here.
And just when you think they are good to go…
Good luck Interpol! And good luck to you all seeing this amazing band, all their East Coast tour dates are sold out!
