Particle next up to rock Buffalo Iron Works on November 11

Their sound has been described as ” Space Porn”, a jam band that produces a sound that pulls influences from 70’s prog rock. Particle will be visiting Western NY this Tuesday at Buffalo Iron Works, Buffalo’s newest and hottest venue. The sound in the building is amazing and with Particle’s sound and lights it is sure to be a great night of music.

Particle has been playing over 15 years and have 3 albums under their belts. The band has played over 100 shows including many top festivals in the late night slots. The group also shares some history with Disco Biscuits and Sound Tribe Sector 9 as being one of the first groups to have combined funk, jazz, rock and electronica which led to the very popular livetronica genre we see today.

Particle will be joined by special guests and Buffalo friendly Space Junk. The group was awarded best rhythm section in 2013 by WNY music awards and Buffalo’s Artvoice 2014 Top Electronic/Dance Act. The group which is influenced by such acts as Disco Biscuits and Pink Floyd is a perfect pairing with Particle and would encourage everyone to make their way out to Iron Works early.
