Syracuse Irish Festival Photo Album – Craic for Days

The Syracuse Irish Festival is one of my most favorite and highly anticipated annual events of my summer festival season. The festival committee does an impeccable job with the lineup, the vendors, the food, the activities for the children, and making certain this is a free family fun and friendly event. Held in downtown Syracuse each year at Clinton Square the first weekend in September, the location couldn’t be better to showcase and celebrate the rich Irish heritage in not only Syracuse but also throughout the entire Central New York area.

This years event welcomed the following artists Saturday to a full crowd who came ready to have a great time.

As the weekend wore down, the music finished, and the vendors packed up I couldn’t help but reflect on how exciting and wonderful this years event had been. The weather held out, the beer ran out (just for a tad until they could restock), and the crowd was bigger and happier than many years before.  Yes, it was another successful event to celebrate music, culture, and family and friends at one of the best Irish Festivals on the east coast.
