Many bands start out trying to find the next sound, the sound that’s going to take the world by storm so they can be the next big thing, but don’t always make it. Troy natives Super 400 do not fall into this category. For almost 20 years they have been playing the rocking blues that have been a staple in American music forever: they just do it better, stronger and harder.
In 1998 they were singed to Island records but due to management changes they were dropped from the label, but this did not deter them rocking. They have become such icons in their home town that The Troy mayor at the time, Harry Tutunjian, declared February 25, 2006, Super 400 day. This iconic sound will take the stage at Saratoga Springs hottest venue, Putnam Den, for FREE, on October 3rd at 8:00pm.
