A highly revered pianist, Benevento added a new twist to his fifth studio album, which was released on Sept. 16 by the record label he co-founded, The Royal Potato Family. Joined by bassist Dave Dreiwitz and drummer Andy Borger, Swift’s tracks feature Benevento’s voice as an additional instrument. Swift was recorded at Benevento’s Fred Short sound studio in Woodstock, N.Y. and Friday’s show offers locals a chance to catch the new tunes before Marco heads out on an extensive national tour that wraps up back in New York at the Brooklyn Bowl on Dec. 18 and 19.
Already known for putting on lively and entertaining shows, Marco’s singing is sure to only enhance the live experience. Benevento does not take the stage without his infectious smile, which will accompany his jubilant music on Friday night.
Doors are at 10:30, and the show is from 11:00 p.m.- 1:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
