Boston Calling Gets Ready to Wrap up the Summer

Boston Calling is getting ready to launch its fourth festival in two years, taking place from September 5 to the 7. The event takes place at Boston’s City Hall Plaza each day. The lineup, just like the May edition, has a little something for everyone. The three days include a mix of rock, rap, indie, EDM, and pop. Over the course of the first three festivals, Boston Calling has only been getting glowing reviews from all over the country and it looks like we are in for another great one.

These ten hours of music on each day will see ten bands a day play across two stages. Boston Calling Fall Schedule

Improvements are always good to see at a festival and for the fall edition, Boston Calling has some tricks up their sleeve. Since this is the end of summer and beginning of fall, they have partnered up with Samuel Adams to have an Oktoberfest celebration throughout the weekend. Festival goers are being asked to dress up in their best lederhosen and enjoy games, special beer offerings, and traditional German fare at the plaza. There are also official after parties each night when the festival draws to a close. On Friday, Bombino will be playing The Sinclair followed by White Denim on Saturday night and DJ Questlove on Sunday night. At Great Scott, Gentlemen Hall will be playing Saturday and Reptar will be playing Sunday.

The weather is looking great for the coming weekend and there are still tickets available for single days as well as the entire weekend. Get them now and be ready to have a great weekend at City Hall Plaza.
